Interior Painting
Straight lines, even coats, and a house you can live in the same evening

Most bad paint jobs are not paint problems. They are prep problems: nail holes skimmed instead of filled, glossy trim painted without a scuff, patches that flash through the topcoat because nobody spot-primed them. We take prep seriously enough that it is the longest phase of the job, and it is why our work still looks sharp when the neighbour's repaint has already started peeling at the baseboards.
Every job starts with masking and floor protection, then patching and sanding, then spot-priming anything that was repaired. Only after that does colour go on — two full coats, cut in by hand at the ceiling line, rolled tight to the trim. Trim and doors get sprayed or brushed in enamel depending on what the surface calls for.
We paint occupied homes constantly, so we work in a way that lets you stay: low-VOC products, one room finished before the next is opened up, and every tool and drop cloth out of the way before we leave for the day.

How it runs
Our interior painting process
- 1
Walkthrough and quote
We measure the space, check the condition of every surface and flag anything that needs repair before paint. You get a written fixed price the same day — no per-hour surprises.
- 2
Protect and prep
Floors covered, furniture moved and wrapped, fixtures masked. Then holes filled, cracks bridged, glossy surfaces scuffed and every repair spot-primed.
- 3
Paint
Cut in by hand, rolled in two full coats, trim finished last. We work room by room so you keep the rest of the house usable throughout.
- 4
Walkthrough with a light
We walk every wall with you under a raking light, mark anything you are not happy with, and fix it before the crew packs up. Leftover paint is labelled and left with you for touch-ups.
“They spent two full days on prep before a drop of paint went on, which honestly worried me at the time. Then the finish came out flawless and I understood why. Two years on, not one crack has come back through.”

FAQ
Interior Painting questions
The things people ask before they book. If yours is not here, call and ask it.
For a typical 1,500–2,000 sq ft LA home, walls and ceilings run roughly $4,800–$8,000 with two coats of premium paint and full prep included. Adding trim, doors and closets usually brings it to $7,000–$12,000. A single bedroom on its own starts around $450.
No. We use low-VOC paints and finish one room before opening up the next, so most clients stay in the house the entire time. If we are spraying cabinetry or doing a whole-home job on a tight schedule, we will tell you upfront which two or three days are the disruptive ones.
Two, always, on top of primer wherever a surface was repaired or is changing colour dramatically. Anyone quoting you one coat is quoting you a job that will look thin within a year.
Yes. Nail holes, hairline cracks, dents and small patches are part of the price on every job. Larger damage — water stains, failed drywall tape, holes bigger than a fist — we quote as drywall repair, which we also do in-house, so there is no second contractor to coordinate.
Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore as standard. If you want a specific line — Emerald, Aura, Duration — we will price it. We do not substitute cheaper paint after the quote is signed.
